Meet Dr. Jennifer Mohorovic
Dr. Jennifer Mohorovic received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2011. The focus of her work has been on helping trauma survivors since the start of her career. She spent the first 9 years of her career helping veterans with trauma in the Veteran’s Administration. In 2021, Dr. Mohorovic opened her private practice specializing in treating not just veterans, but members of the community who are trauma survivors.
Dr. Mohorovic has received specialized training in prolonged exposure therapy and cognitive processing therapy, two psychotherapies grounded in extensive research, to treat post traumatic stress disorder and other trauma related difficulties.
Dr. Mohorovic is a native to Baltimore, Maryland and has been living in Beaufort, South Carolina since 2014. She is an avid bird lover and spends her spare time tending to her flock of rescue birds from families who can no longer provide care for them. When time allows, Dr. Mohorovic also likes to foster palliative care dogs to give them the best retirement home possible in their golden years.
